Firestik II is an improved version of the time-tested KW series antennas.The FS antenna has an easy tune bare-hands tunable tip that guarantees safety even in wet conditions. Besides making tuning a breeze, the FS series design broadens the antenna's bandwidth, and the upper coil extension increases its power handling capabilities. The rust proof brass tunable tip has a rubber O-ring to keep the adjuster in place after tuning. The antenna is of excellent quality and is built to last with a nice black finish. To maintain a balance between flexibility and ruggedness, it comes with a solid fiberglass core wound with heavy insulated copper wire and a 3/8"x24 threaded base that works perfectly with Firestik mounts and accessories. The insulated copper wire resists oxidation and shortened windings often found on non-Firestik antennas. Each antenna is sealed with static reducing, water-tight sleeves that contain UV and pigment stabilizers.

This antenna is compatible with various models of trucks, tractor trailers, vans, passenger cars in a single antenna configuration provided the base installation has an adequate metallic ground plane. The antenna can also be used in dual (co-phased) configuration on different vehicles made of any material. It is also compatible with all Teraflex Jeep mounts though most do not come with an antenna stud. We recommend the customized Jeep mount kits that include the antenna stud and a cable.
