JKS MiniSkids are essentially miniature skid plates for the lower suspension arm brackets on the front axle. The clever design spans the front of each bracket to create a boxed structure for increased strength and integrity.
When properly welded to the axle and OE brackets, our MiniSkids prevent damage and deformation, and provide much-needed protection of the caster adjustment bolts and suspension arm bushings.
MiniSkids are laser cut from thick 1/4 inch plate steel and folded for increased rigidity and proper clearance of the suspension arms. They are supplied in raw form and require painting following installation.
