AEM Brute Force Intake System
Features & Product Details
The AEM Brute Force Air Intake Systems are built to generate increased torque, superior horsepower and smoother engine sounds when used to replace the factory-fitted air filter and air box. They manufactured this air intake system to give your machine the cool air it desires for delivering excellent performance on the road. This Brute Force Intake System is tuned, tested constructed to fit into precise trucks and cars with ease. They usually come with a large AEM Dryflow washable and synthetic air filter to equip people with better airflow, performance and filtration, while enabling seamless cleaning. Like most, this AEM intake system uses powder-coated heat shields, mandrel-bent intake tubes made from aluminum and topnotch hardware to reduce intake temperature and restriction. The mechanisms and design of this intake system will vary from others, so people should ideally follow the specific installation instructions if they are looking for specific information on the specifications of each part by using the numbers provided. Keep in mind that this Air Intake cannot be used or sold in California or any other state that adopts the same emission standards as the state of California.

Just received today, pretty disappointed. AEM claims this is a sealed system, they give you weather striping to use as a seal between the pipe, intake hole and filter/clamp. I will be calling AEM tomorrow as its missing the Yellow flow indicator in the pictures of this intake(they give you a bung), a clamp, and I also believe they sent the wrong size filter, I'll take measurements tomorrow. Nothing on Northridge but AEM seems to be a joke, far from being engineered to outperform.
