SHIPPING POLICY
TURNAROUND TIME
Most orders containing items listed as “In Stock” will ship the same day if placed on a weekday before 12PM PST / 3PM EST. Orders requiring additional verification (security concerns, incorrect information, etc.) may need additional processing time. Items listed as “On Order” or “Out of Stock” typically ship by the estimated ship date listed on the product page. These estimated dates are not guaranteed and are subject to change periodically. Our customer service representatives monitor backorders daily to ensure your order ships as soon as possible.
TRANSIT TIMES
The delivery time of your package primarily depends on the shipping carrier and the service level selected.
- Expedited shipping is guaranteed on 'In Stock' products only.
- Shipping cutoff Times for Expedited and Regular shipments are 11AM PST / 2PM EST.
- Drop Ships and Backordered items will ship out as soon as they become available.
When selecting the shipping method for your package, please keep in mind that most carriers do not work on weekends or major holidays. When carriers quote shipping days, they refer to business days. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, except for holidays observed by the selected parcel carrier. For specific delivery estimates, you can usually find detailed information on the carrier’s website or you can also contact one of our customer service representatives for specific details. As a general rule, UPS transit times for the lower 48 states are as follows:
UPS Next Day Air - Delivered within 1 Business Day
UPS 2nd Day Air - Delivered within 2 Business Days
UPS 3-Day Service - Delivered within 3 Business Days
UPS Ground - Delivered within 3-5 Business Days

OUT-OF-STOCK ORDERS
If an order is placed for a product that is labeled “On Order”, “Call for Availability, or “Out of Stock”, we will keep your order in our system and ship the item as soon as it becomes available. Northridge4x4 reserves the right to split your order into multiple shipments without notification in an attempt to try and get your products to you sooner. Orders are normally only split automatically if both orders qualify for free shipping. If you wish to split your order voluntarily due to an out of stock item, please notify our sales department Prior to placing your Order and be aware that additional shipping charges may apply if both shipments do not qualify for free shipping.
BILLING / SHIPPING ADDRESSES
If you wish to have your item(s) shipped to an address other than your billing address, please be aware that your order may require additional verification and may be subject to processing delays. We recommend allowing extra time for order fulfillment when shipping to an alternate address. If you have any questions about your order verification please feel free to contact our sales department. Northridge4x4 DOES NOT ship to a PO Box or APO Address.
DAMAGED / LOST SHIPMENT
If your shipment becomes damaged or lost in transit, please notify our customer service department immediately at customerservice@northridge4x4.com. Please include photos of the packaging as well as pictures of the damaged part(s). Do not discard any boxes or packaging materials that were included with the shipment. In order to fully process a damage claim, all original products and packaging materials must be provided. Northridge4x4 is not liable for damage claims that are denied due to customer negligence.
If you provide an apartment, multi-unit housing complex or townhome address as your ship to destination, this is at your own risk. Northridge4x4 will not be liable for any package(s) not received.
All damaged or missing parts must be reported to Northridge4x4's customer service within 5 Business days of delivery.
Tracking numbers
Tracking numbers will typically be emailed once an order has been processed and shipped. However, in some events an item is not “In Stock”, Northridge4x4® may choose to have it shipped directly from the manufacturer so that it can be delivered to you as quickly as possible. In this event, a tracking number will not be provided but if one is needed, contact customerservice@northridge4x4.com and we would be more than happy to obtain one on request.
SHIPMENT REFUSALS
If you refuse a package, an $21 service fee and any additional shipping charges will be deducted from the refund. This will also delay the refund process. If you would like to return an item, all shipments must be accepted and then sent back following our standard return process. Refusals for International Orders: Duty, Taxes, and Fees incurred during return will be deducted from your refund.
- You will need to begin our Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process by emailing customerservice@northridge4x4.com to have the item returned.
ADDRESS CHANGE REQUEST
If you request an address change after your order has been processed, we will do our best to work with the carrier to re-route your package(s). If successfully re-routed there will be an address change fee of $21 plus any additional shipping charges, brokerage fee, duties and/or taxes (customer responsibility).

LTL TRUCK SHIPMENTS
Once you've signed and accepted a truck freight shipment, you are releasing the freight company and northridge4x4 of any liability for damages not reported on the delivery receipt. It is important to inspect the contents of the shipment even if the outside of the box(es) show no visible signs of damage.

When your LTL Truck Shipment leaves our Warehouse, you will receive an Email with pictures of your shipment and important deliver information. Attached to this email you will find images of your package(s). It is extremely important to check your freight for shortages or any signs of damage at the time of delivery (use the images to compare).
- Once you’ve signed and accepted the shipment, you are releasing the freight company and Northridge4x4 of any liability for damages not reported on the delivery receipt. Although most deliveries are made without incident, should you discover a problem please follow the guidelines listed below.
- The freight company will contact you directly to schedule a delivery date.
- Freight company has limited space. There is a 24-hour period once the freight arrives at the delivery service center and the freight company has given arrival notice to the consignee to call back in and get it scheduled. After that 24-hour period, storage may begin. Additional costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
- Please note the agreed-upon date is an appointment so please make sure someone 18 years of age or older is there to sign and inspect. If they must reschedule or if the shipment is returned to the sender for any reason, they will charge for the delivery attempt. This additional charge will be the customer’s responsibility.
- If there is damage do NOT refuse the shipment. Note the damage(s) on the paperwork and take pictures as the video instructs and email us at customerservice@northridge4x4.com.
- If the driver doesn’t allow you to open it for inspection or can’t wait, please write on the Bill of Lading: SUBJECT TO INSPECTION and have the driver sign it. Reminder if you sign for the package you are releasing liability.

DAMAGE TO OUTSIDE PACKAGING
If the containers in your shipment show visible signs of damage, open them immediately to check the contents, and ask the driver to inspect the contents with you. Then, write a precise description of the damage on both your copy and the freight company’s copy of the delivery receipt.
If the driver doesn’t allow you to open it for inspection or can’t wait, please write on the Bill of Lading: SUBJECT TO INSPECTION and have the driver sign it.
DAMAGE TO PRODUCTS
If you find that the product is damaged at the time of delivery you must write “Damaged” and a brief description of the damage on the delivery receipt. If the damage is not listed on the delivery receipt, you are releasing the freight company and Northridge4x4 of any liability for damages not reported on the delivery receipt. Please ensure accurate documentation and take pictures. Then email us at customerservice@northridge4x4.com within 48 hours with photos of damage.
Concealed damage must be communicated to customerservice@northridge4x4.com within 48 hours of receipt.
LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES
It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your account has a current address and other correct contact information to ensure proper delivery. Northridge4x4 is not responsible for any packages delivered to an incorrect address due to customer error.
Missing packages that show delivered must be reported to Northridge4x4 within 24 hours. If the package shows delivered, and you did not receive it Northridge4x4 will request a police report be filed immediately. Submit a copy of the police report to customerservice@northridge4x4.com and we will open an investigation with the shipping company.
SHIPPING TO APARTMENTS/CONDOMINIUMS
If you provide an apartment address as your ship to destination, this is at your own risk. Northridge4x4 will not be liable for loss or theft.
DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
If your package was delivered to you damaged, email photos of damage(s) to Customer Success Department at customerservice@northridge4x4.com. Northridge4x4 will handle the claim on your behalf.
- Shipping companies require the original packing for inspection. It is the customers' responsibility to keep all original packaging.
- Do not install/attempt to install anything you receive damaged. Once installation is attempted all warranty and claims are null and voided to replace the damaged part.
- Expedited shipping is at the customer's expense for replacement of damaged items.
- All damage(s) must be reported to Northridge4x4 within 7 business days.
