Application:

The Model 8700 Evolution J2 Series is intended for use on 2007+ Jeep Wrangler JKs & Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

This series will fit 2017 Jeep JK models. Refer to specifications for more information on which models offer plug & play. An additional mounting ring kit may be required.

Install on '09 JKU was simple, just pop out the grill and a few screws each side and done, alignment was unaffected. Great light pattern and quality, I would have said the OE lights were just ok, with these, more like a dying flashilight compared to these JW Speaker headlights. DIdn't see any impact in winter snow driving by runnign these units without the heat coils.

Installed in a 2016 JK. Surprisingly easy to install with plug and play connections. Quality of build and components compared to stock is significantly higher. Performance blows away the stock lights with brighter lighting and larger distribution/field of light. I don't experience other drivers flashing lights at me, so they do not seem to be affecting oncoming drivers. After purchasing these and "seeing the light," I purchased additional matching JW lights.

For the price tag, I expected more. I'm not really a fan of the way they look, but after all the good things I heard, I could look past that. However, they don't hardly shine out to the sides at all. I live in a rural area with lots of deer, so I was hoping they would be a bit better so that driving in the dark wouldn't be as stressful. Ended up getting some pod lights since these were sub-par.

Bought a 2011 jeep wrangler with these installed and one has went out. Not sure when it was installed but I can find out. Do these have any warranty?

  A: Yes, as of today, 8/6/24 they have a limited 5 year warranty. As with most warranties, that is usually only for the original purchaser of the lights, and non transferable.

Will these LED lights ice over in Northern climates? I'm assuming they aren't heated.

  A: These are not heated, and you may experience icing with these as LED lights produce less heat than halogens.
