If you have larger tires, aggressive suspension, or anything that can add weight, then the performance of your engine will be affected. The Volant PowerCore Intake System is a direct replacement of the highly restrictive factory intake system. This intake system combines a high-flow air inlet tube along with a large filter box. The filter box is made from a combination of high-grade aluminum with a clear window to see the condition of the filter itself for servicing. The filter itself has essential filtering qualities and it filters up to 99.97 percent filtration efficiency, and will provide fine filtering elements for up to 100,000 miles.
The sealed intake box keeps out hot engine heat while the larger air inlet vents which will allow cooler air to get to the filter.
