Rugged Ridge HD steering kits are a simple bolt-on solution for preventing damaged linkages and broken tie rod ends from wheeling with larger tires. Constructed from SAE 1018 steel that is cold rolled, pierced, and drawn through dies to produce a brawny 0.25-inch wall thickness. This is true DOM tubing with no seams or welds to fail. Heavy-duty rod ends feature standard tapered ends to fit stock knuckle applications. You get nearly one-ton strength without any modifications to your steering knuckles. These heavy-duty crossover steering conversion kits replace the bump-steer-prone inverted Y-type steering system, making your rig more manageable and stable at highway speeds. They connect the drag link to the end of the tie rod at the wheel, giving a better steering angle and leverage. If your vehicle is lifted, a crossover steering system is a must!

STEEL TUBES: The drag link is 1 1/4" ID steel that is cold rolled, pierced, and drawn through dies to produce a 1/4" wall thickness for industrial strength and durability. Not recommended for vehicles with over 4" of lift or under 2" of lift. Not compatible with smaller OEM steel wheels or wheels with deep backspacing.
