Heavy-Duty Construction The Teraflex Heavy Duty Ball Joints are made from a 4140 chromoly steel for extreme strength and long-lasting functionality. Additionally, the ball joints are heat treated in order provide incredible fatigue and abrasion resistance, ultimately increasing the lifespan of these units. These ball joints also feature metal bearings to handle rotational load and a threaded cup, carbon steel spring plate for superior performance under your Jeep's weight.

These ball joints will fit all JK Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles

Ball Joints w/out Knurl won’t score the inner knuckle and open the bore.

Ball Joints w/ Knurl are for inner knuckles that have a “loose press fit” due to repeated ball joint replacement and/or where knurled ball joints have been installed.

We installed these on my wife's 2010 JKU. This was our first time doing this job and we were not aware it is best to use a specific, angled cup with the ball joint press (they are available off Amazon of course). Teraflex customer service was awesome with helping us determine the problem, replacing some parts. Their overall customer service and the experience we had was outstanding. We couldn't recommend them more as a company. Since the install they have performed flawlessly and they helped take up the little bit of play she had in the steering.

TeraFlex bills these as the last ball joints you’ll ever need. Been running then on my JKU for 2 years with 37x13.5x20 tires and they are still good as new, so I bought this set for my daughters wrangler JKX

Replaced polyperformance with Teraflex ball joints 3 years ago

Replaced the polyperformance synergy knurled ball joints with these, although I actually ordered the Teraflex knurled ball joints and the fit excellent using my OTC ball joint press with the jeep ball joint puller kit. Very pleased.

I picked these after hours of online reviews. The have been installed on my jeep for approximately 6 weeks now. The install was not too bad, I would suggest modifying one of your ball joint press cups so that the angle matches the c gusset angle. They improved my ride immediately over the worn out stock joints. Haven't had a chance to rock crawl with them yet but they seems to be holding up well to light trail use.

  A: I like using the Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease or the Lucas Oil 10330 X-Tra Heavy Duty Grease. Teraflex doesn't call out a specific grease to use.
