Impressive Construction for Long-Lasting Functionality
The ARB Awning Kit features a 300GSM PU coated poly/cotton rip stop canvas for the awning material itself, ensuring it will be able to handle just about any weather conditions. Likewise, the canvas is water and UV resistant, so you won't have to worry about getting wet or sun-burnt depending on your environment. Included in this kit you'll also receive the necessary pegs, poles and ropes needed for this awning to properly function. Metal cam locks on the ARB awning are much more durable and reliable than standard plastic ones, so you can efficiently set this awning up without having to worry about the components snapping or breaking. Best of all, the light strip can be rolled up with the awning roof after use, allowing everything to stay together for your next adventure.

I arrived at camp site and went to put up. No instructions!! By trial and error plus youtube was able to get it up. Legs for awning don't really hold. 1 is extended the max and stays up. If you try to lower and adjust, it just goes to the bottom - so 4ft off ground. The other leg is max extended, will go down a bit but won't go all the way in. Awning is ok to pack up but have to roll just right to get it in bag. Room is also fun with no instructions!!
The material quality is top notch, I can tell we are going to have this awning for a while. I upgraded the stakes to the screw type and they make a world of difference. It looks great (do wish there was another color option), the LED light is really handy, and very solid. 4 stars because the 8 ft option is tough to put up alone, the weight is enough to droop and everything is just out of reach. Also, the stakes provided do bend in tough soil and they twist when pulled on and the attachments slide off.

A: You should be able to make this attach to whatever you have. It's a universal application, so shouldn't be an issue.

A: It has a longer cord with a plug for a 12v auxiliary outlet in your vehicle.

A: A zip in screen room wouldn't work. The ARB awning room https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/awnings-accessories/813108a-arb-deluxe-awning-room-w-floor-2500x2500 actually attaches with clips, not a zipper.

A: They come with hardware, but do not come with brackets. In some cases, the awning can be mounted straight into a canopy or roof rack. In other instances, you will need an additional bracket. Rhino Rack offers some mounting brackets for use with their Vortex Crossbars, p/n 31111.
