Roto-Molded Plastic Construction and Black Finish
Pelican Cargo cases are lockable, weather-resistant, and e-coated plates designed to withstand corrosion. The easy install
mounting brackets (sold separately) allow you to remove the cargo cases from your vehicle with just the pull of a pin in less
than a minute. The heavy-duty lay-flat handles stay out of the way and offer a comfortable grip when engaged. The Polyethylene
roto-molded cases are designed to withstand impact, extreme conditions, and the lightweight polymer ads UV protection to the
pelican cases. The tie-down pates are compatible with Pelican's vehicle mounting kits and also can be used with ratchet straps
or rope. The rubber gasketed lid has been tested to Mil-Spec 810G to protect against 70 mph wind-blown rain and dust, and have
been city crash tested.

Pelican BX135 in a 2017 Chevy Colorado
Fits perfect in my 2017 Chevy Colorado, to have more bed space I used a dremel to cut a channel in the bed so the pelican cross bed bracket could mount back as far as possible

A: No... an actual padlock will not fit. Yes you can put a lock on it... a cable lock. This is the most unsecurable product I've seen pelican push out.
