For the ultimate in high steer arms that use knuckles instead of factory designed kingpin springs, shop with Artec Industries and purchase Artec Industries Ultimate Dana 60 High Steer Arm to help with crossover steering. With a clear zinc plate and steering linkage mounting options, Artec Industries Ultimate Dana 60 High Steer Arm are the best arms that use knuckles and a springless design to adjust the torque. This feature works better than if you were using factory designed kingpin springs. With the hardware included for springless conversion, please pay attention to the measurements below to ensure you have enough space between the wheels/tire and the arms

Specifications

  • Included is the hardware for a spring-less conversion: a 3/4 inch set screw, jam nut, grease zerk, .250 inch thick load washer, and upper kingpin bushing used for the arms
  • Included in the Kit are a 3/4 inch grade 8 bolt, a 3/4 inch steel mechanical locking nut, and a 1.25 inch outer diameter, .250 inch wall sleeve
  • The sleeve is machined to allow direct contact and proper misalignment for a 3/4 inch rod end (heim) ball

    • Notes

  • Due to the factory hole location, the Knuckle Bolt hole isn't machined into the high steer arm. Each factory hole location is different and to ensure a perfect fit, drill based on the knuckle they attach to.
  • Use a 3/4 inch drill bit to line up and drill the hole in the knucle and the high steer arm
  • For vehicles with wheels that have large backspacing, these should not be used with this type of high steer arm. High steer arms are made to fit 17 inches 4.75 inches backspaced wheels. These will not work on factory backspaced H1 wheels. The spindle mounting surface measures 1.25 inches at the bulge on the side of the arm
  • Please confirm measurements before ordering to ensure you have enough space between the tires and the arms

    Doing the Artec JK 1-Ton swap with a Kingpin axle? Then these are a must have! These give you a ton more options when working out your steering set up. Get that tie rod a little higher. Place your axle side of drag link in the perfect spot! Installation is easy. If you want to use the knuckle bolt. Mount up the arm, mark the location and drill away. These things are so sexy I almost bought a second set as a paper weights for my office!
