Yeti XD Sector Shaft Brace

The YETI XD JL/JT Sector Shaft Brace With Frame Side Track Bar Reinforcement Bracket was engineered to bolt onto the stock track bar mount on the frame. The purpose of this piece is two-fold. First, the sector shaft support is meant to help minimize the aluminum and steel steering gears from flexing/deflecting/moving when cycling your steering system side to side.

The second benefit of the product is to reinforce the frame side track bar mounting location to help minimize any deflection of this bracket and ensure that the mount doesn't break under extreme stress.

Moreover, the included 30mm, 1 1/2 ton ball joints are the biggest and strongest available for the JK, so you won't have to worry about holding back on your favorite trails. Steer Smarts Reverse Pin technology prevents the linkage from flopping or rocking when you're testing the limits in your off-road warrior. This reverse pin was built right inside the socket, making for a superior design compared to weaker add-on supports seen on competitor's tie rods. Heavy-Duty Construction & Installation Info The Steer Smarts Yeti XD Tie Rod Assembly features impressive construction for superior strength and long-lasting functionality. The ball joints are crafted from cold-headed medium carbon alloy to provide incredible impact toughness for extreme duty usage. Steel on steel bearings provide ultimate fatigue strength, so they'll be able to handle the constant abuse of your Jeep's aggressive build. For even more strength, the rod ends at both the adjuster and draglink feature large 1-1/4" rolled threads which are much more durable than the OE threads. Additionally, the adjuster is made from 1/4" thick wall 4130 DOM steel tubing to ensure the tie rod assembly won't loosen. When it comes to installation, this entire assembly is completely bolt-on and should only take just a few minutes to complete.

***NOTE*** A minimum lift height of 4.5-5" (and correct bump stop) is required for a top-mount draglink. Minimum height requirements will vary by lift manufacturer. Part #79022001 (track bar relocation bracket) is necessary when flipping your draglink - it maintains proper track bar and draglink geometry. For those running metal cloak lifts, we do not recommend a top mount draglink for their lift kits d/t interference issues.
